Dannie Reed Clark

Dannie Reed Clark, 79, of Burkeville, VA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Clark; a son, Dwayne Clark(Cassie) of Pleasant View, Tennessee; two grandsons, David Clark(Tori) of San Diego, California and Josh Cooper of Okinawa, Japan; two great grandsons, Cameron Clark and Dawson Clark; a brother, Roger Clark of Petersburg, VA; a sister, Linda Miller(Ronnie) of Hurt, VA.  Dannie is preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and Hunter Reed Clark. 

He was a carpenter and worked in building bridges for English Construction.

  Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in Liberty Baptist Church, 4498 Bible Rd., Crewe, VA  23930 with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.  Arrangements are by the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA  23824.  www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
