Clifton C. "Cliff" Gunn

Clifton C. Cliff Gunn, 52, of Blackstone, VA, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, January 3, 2011. He was predeceased by his father, B. W. Gunn.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Helen; three children, Andrew Clifton Gunn (Deidre) of Birmingham, AL, Theresa Rose Gunn, and Sterling Bernard Gunn, both of Blackstone; his mother, Ida Swann Gunn of Blackstone; grandson, John Ballard Gunn of AL; sister, Debbee Dzendzel (Dennis) of Richmond; brother, Bill Gunn (Dianne) of Blackstone; two nieces, Jessica Randolph of Blackstone and Allison Hurley of Crewe.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held 6 P.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Nottoway Middle School Auditorium. The family will receive friends following the service until 8 P.M. in the auditorium. Graveside burial services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, January 6, 2011, Crestview Memorial Park, LaCrosse, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blackstone Recreation Association, P. O. Box 421, Blackstone, VA 23824.
