Jesus called, Charles Clifton "Bo" Phillips, to his heavenly home on Saturday, February 9, 2008.
Bo was 50 years of age, and lived in Crewe, Virginia.
He is survived by his father, R. Loyd Phillips of Blackstone; three sisters, Ruth Witt(Jack), Katherine Dodson(Sammy), and Shirley Phillips, all of Scottsville; his three brothers, Richard Sr. of Crewe, Jimmie(Janet) of Jetersville, and J.D. Phillips of Blackstone; and many nieces and nephews.
Bo was preceded in heaven by his siblings, Mary Agnes and Baby Brother Phillips, and most recently by his devoted mother, Agnes McAllister Phillips on January 15, 2008.
Bo was an outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and was an avid fan of auto racing.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road, Blackstone, VA 23824.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at the Jonesboro Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Gordon Lee and Rev. Dr. Leroy Bradshaw officiating.
