Charles Edwin Goolsby

Charles Edwin “Ed” Goolsby, Jr., age 82, of Crewe, VA, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Folks Goolsby; a son, Charles “Chad” Goolsby III (Kaleena); two granddaughters, Elely and Adaleena; and a sister, Karen Wyatt (Darrell).  Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Bennett and Charles E. Goolsby, Sr.  He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and served from 1968-1972.  Ed received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary and was a chemical technician for the former Boehringer Ingelheim Chemical Company.  Private services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home.  www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
