Charles Thomas C.T. Stallings, 80, of Amelia, formerly of Blackstone, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010.
He was a US Army Korean War veteran, retired from Virginia Army National Guard and also MATES, Ft. Pickett, and was a life member of the Blackstone Vol. Fire Department.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Adelaide T. Stallings. CT is survived by his wife, Sylvia H. Stallings; four sons, Charles T. Stallings, Jr. (Judy) of Blackstone, Richard E. Stallings of Crewe, Keith L. Stallings of Blackstone, and Nathan A. Stallings (Sarah) of Kenbridge; 5 grandchildren, Richard E. Ritchie Stallings, Madison A. Stallings, Brittany P. Stallings, Hallie P. Stallings and Samantha L. Stallings .
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Friday at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd. Bus. Hwy 460, near Blackstone. Services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the funeral home with burial to follow with military honors in Little Flock Cemetery, Amelia.
