Carroll Ogburn Vaughan

Carroll Ogburn Vaughan, 81, our beloved husband and father, died Monday, August 13, 2007. He was a lifelong resident of Blackstone, Virginia. Carroll is survived by his wife, Corrine Reams Vaughan; and their children, Tom Vaughan and his wife, Karen of Mechanicsville; and Cynthia V. Shilan and her husband, Stephen of Madison, VA; three grandchildren, John, Matthew and Caitlin; his brother, Donald Vaughan of Blackstone; and his sister, Mildred Foster of Poquoson, VA. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Business Hwy. 460, Blackstone. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Crenshaw United Methodist Church, 200 Church St., in Blackstone, VA. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
