Bruce Payne

Bruce Payne, 86, of Wilsons, VA, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann Hill Payne; four children: Sharon Orange of Blackstone, Patricia Wheeler of Sarasota, FL, Gary Payne (Jean) of Crewe, and Deborah Gonzales (Richard) of Arlington, VA; five grandchildren: Kris Vannoorbeeck (Philip) of Amelia, Holman Orange of Raleigh, NC, Patrick Gonzales of Arlington, Thomas Payne and Erin Payne, both of Crewe; two great-grandsons: Samuel and Joshua Vannoorbeeck of Amelia; two brothers: Herbert Ralph Payne of Jonesboro, TN, and Clyde Lee Payne of Sulphur Springs, TN; and an aunt, Nell Lee of Johnson City, TN.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 8 p.m. at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road, Bus. Hwy. 460, near Blackstone, with chapel funeral services at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone, VA with military honors.
