Brenda Carneal Obituary
Brenda Lee Carneal, 76, of Crewe, Virginia passed away quickly and unexpectedly on Monday, August 11, 2025. Born on July 7, 1949 in Fredericksburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Clifton and Hazel Virginia Carneal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Stanley Owen Carneal. Brenda is survived by her brother, Curtis Wayne Carneal; sons Maury Quinn Price, III and Elue Stafford Taylor; daughter Becky Jackson; grandsons Thaddeus Sterling Price and Ben Jackson (Theresa); granddaughters, Amy Marie Price and Isabella Lee Price. Brenda is also survived by four great grandchildren, Robert, Haylie, Kyllian, and Dazdan Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a dear sister-in-law, Georgianna Price Williamson.
Brenda grew up in Richmond, Virginia but spent much of her adult life in Crewe. She initially worked at Crewe Garment Factory. Eventually she used her excellent cooking skills working as a cook at several different restaurants. Brenda had a kind and friendly nature and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and her dachshund Louie. Plans for a celebration of life service will be announced when arrangements are complete.
