Billy Ray Fulford

Billy Ray Fulford, 84, of Crewe, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.  He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Fulford; a son, Ray Fulford (Michelle); a granddaughter, Lauren Fulford; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Billy was a retired tank mechanic and Sergeant First Class of the VaAng and M.A.T.E.S.  He enjoyed golfing as a member of the Crewe Country Club, loved attending his granddaughter’s school activities especially volleyball and softball games.  Billy had a deep compassion for which was always returned by his canine companion, Smokey.

A Celebration of Life service with military honors will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday May 30, 2024, at Mercy Outreach Fellowship, 417 Church St., Blackstone, VA 23824.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mercy Outreach Food Pantry.
