Betty Boyle Wallace of Crewe, Virginia, born June 24, 1940, died Sunday, January 4, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Dugger Ragland and John Augustus Dugger IV; her stepfather, Samuel Gilbert Ragland; her husband and the father of her children, Clennie Earl Boyle; their son John Scott Boyle; and her second husband, Charles Edwin Wallace.
She is survived by sons Chris Boyle and his wife Jeanette of Rapid City, SD; Brian Boyle of Atlanta, GA; and a daughter, Sherry Boyle Lee of Farmville, VA. She is also survived by grandsons Justin Boyle, Patrick Boyle, and Matthew Womack; and by great-grandchildren, Beth Boyle and Victor Boyle.
Her interment at Crewe Cemetery will be private.
As Betty loved animals, in lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations in her memory be made to a local animal shelter.
