Betty Kreider Lewis

Betty Kreider Lewis, 82, of Crewe, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2024.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandma and homemaker.  Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Roscoe S. Lewis who passed away in 2014.  She is survived by three children, Chester W. Lewis (Robin), Todd R. Lewis (Lisa), all of Crewe, and Holly L. Parrish (Gary) of Blackstone; three grandchildren, Brandon S. Parrish (fiancé, Courtney), Thomas R. Parrish (Victoria), Maggie Lewis; a sister, Gladys K. Bishop (John) of Blackstone; three sisters-in-laws, Flossie Blevins, Claudine Lewis and Sherron McNabb; many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA 23824.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Belfast Baptist Church Cemetery, 2169 Bible Road, Crewe, VA  23930 with the Pastor Walter Daniel officiating.
