Betty Abernathy

Betty “MeMe” Abernathy, 78, of Blackstone, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025.  She was the widow of G.L. Abernathy.  MeMe is survived by a daughter, Tammie Hart; three grandchildren, Heather Hart (Antonio), Jennifer Hart (Dajour Worsham); Matthew Hart (Gabrielle); and six great grandchildren. 

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Blackstone Church of God, 126 Sixth St., Blackstone, VA  23824.  Arrangements are by the Blackstone Chapel of Joseph McMillian Funeral Home.
