Annie P. Hudson, 95 of Crewe, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25, 2008.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lelia and Jordan Phillips; her sons, Douglas, Bulldog, Jimmy and Roy Hudson; her daughters, Caroleen Clark and Mae Mayton and her brother, Cary Phillips.
Annie is survived by her three children, Richard F. Hudson (Kathleen) of Blackstone, Nellie H. McAllister of Crewe; and Billy Hudson (Bunny) of Blackstone; daughters-in-law, Tiny Hudson of Wilsons, Carol Wilson of Crewe and Lula Stigall of North Carolina; 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her stepchildren, Wallace Hudson, Dorothy Rogers, Alice Jones, Floyd Hudson, Jr.; her three brothers, Loyd and Gordon Phillips, both of Blacktstone and Bernard Phillips of Saluda; five sisters, Alma Scott of Washington, Lillie Lyalls of McKenney, Mattie Brockwell and Pattie Sue Skinner, both of Colonial Heights; and Mabel Thorp of Crewe; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 26 at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, Bus. Hwy. 460, Blackstone and where chapel funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, February 27, 2008 with interment to follow in Crewe Cemetery.
