Annie Rachel Davidson of Crewe, VA, born January 14, 1942, in Logan County, WV, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 31, 2024, after a long illness. She was Vice-President of Davidson Land Clearing Co., for 32 years and a member of the Crewe Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Donald C. Davidson, along with her parents, Doliver and Mabel Albright; sister, Clodine Cooper; brother, Hobert Albright; two half sisters and four half brothers. Annie is survived by her two daughters, Donna D. Rust (Dwayne) and Deborah D. Morris (Sam); four grandsons, Brandon S. Rust, Justin S. Rust, Ryan Morris and Daniel Morris; one granddaughter, Tara Evans and 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Ferguson of Ladysmith, VA and Sue Laney of Huntington, WV; two brothers, Sherman Albright and Clarence Albright of Huntington, WV; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road, Blackstone, VA 23824. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the McGhee-Hundley Funeral Home, 6670 McClellan Street, West Hamlin, WV 25571 with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Earl Rainey will be officiating. Burial will be held at the Davidson Family Cemetery on McClarity Fork Rd., in Branchland, WV.
