Anita Louise Patterson Martin

Anita Louise Patterson Martin, 69, of Powhatan, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009. She was preceded in death by a son, Don R. Martin, Jr.

Anita is survived by her husband of 47 years, Don R. Martin; a daughter, Anne Townsend and her husband, Joey; grandson, Joel; and granddaughter, Jessi, all of Powhatan; a sister, Peggy Carlo (Frank) of Blackstone; three brothers, Stanley Patterson (Shirley) of Powhatan, Bobby Patterson (Carolyn), and Dicky Patterson; and a special friend, Doris Patterson, all of Blackstone.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 P.M., Friday, November 6, 2009, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Road (Bus. Hwy. 460), Blackstone, VA 23824.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Patterson Family Cemetery.
