Alice Happel Obituary

Alice A. Happel, 85, of Blackstone, VA, widow of K.O. Happel, Sr., died Monday, August 10, 2009.

She is survived by four children, James K. Happel, Ronald C. Happel, Betty H. Pomfrey and Kenneth O. Happel Jr.; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

The family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, at the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home, 1826 Cox Rd., Bus. Hwy 460, near Blackstone, VA 23824. Graveside funeral services will be held
11 A.M., Thursday, August 13, 2009, in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Heritage Hall, The Resident Fund, 900 S. Main St., or to the Blackstone Baptist Church, Building Fund, 405 S. Main St., Blackstone, VA 23824.
