Albert Carmichael "Mike" Mason

Albert Carmichael “Mike” Mason, age 70 of McKenney, VA passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his farm.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandy H. Mason; a daughter, Julie M. Webb (Boogie); a granddaughter, Lexi V. Howerton; a grandson, Mason W. Webb; a sister, Teresa Fish (Mike); three nieces, Megan, Taylor, and Nicole; and a nephew, Mason.  Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Carl M. Mason and Betty Jean Cliborne Mason; and his brother, Mark M. Mason.  He was owner and operator of Mason’s Construction Company for 46 years.  Most of his friends and hunt club members called him, “One Shot”.  Mike’s passions were hunting, fishing and softball.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 25, 2026 in Manson’s United Methodist Church, 17211 Manson’s Church Rd., McKenney, VA  23872, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends and fellowship after the services in the fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the church or to Dinwiddie Animal Shelter, 10903 Wheeler’s Pond Rd., Dinwiddie, VA  23841.  www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
