Aaron Gunn Obituary
Aaron Lee Gunn, 52, of Sutherland, VA, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. Born in Petersburg, VA, to the late Charles and Kathy Gunn. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tracy Gunn; sons, Derrick Shawn McGill (Brittany), Colton Allen Gunn (Sydni), Spencer Bryce Gunn (Brittany), Brandon Blake Gunn; a brother, Derek Sonny Gunn (Melissa); nine grandchildren, Wyatt Story, Aiden McGill, Easton Gunn, Cohen Gunn, Noah Gunn, Charlotte Hood, Anastasia Hood, Sterling Gunn, Rhett Gunn; and a little princess on the way, Raegan Gunn.
Aaron worked for Clay Home Medical for 31 years. He had a wonderful work family that loved him dearly and he loved back. Aaron thought the world of his boss and his wife, Sam and Debbie Clay. He loved to be home with his wife and animals, seeing the grandchildren and his boys. Aaron loved to coach baseball, fish, garden, golfing and raising his chickens. His best friend was his dog, Holleigh. He will be forever missed and loved by his family and friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M., at the W.H.F Ruritan building, 7306 Trinity Church Road, Church Road, VA 23833. Arrangements are by the Joseph McMillian Funeral Homes, 1826 Cox Rd., Blackstone, VA 23824. www.mcmillianfuneralhome.com
